It didn't turn out exactly like I pictured but the kids helped and they were so proud of themselves. Madison did a great job writing Happy Birthday Daddy (with some help). I was a little worried how the cake would end up tasting because of all the little hands helping and touching everything but it was very good.

James' birthday
I decided the kids and I were going to make James his birthday cake again this year. I really wanted to do an Ohio State cake but had a hard time finding anything I liked. So this is what we came up with ..

Pumpkin Patch Fun
We headed out to the local pumpkin patch. It was super crowded and hot!! $57 dollars later and we were ready to start the day! We started out on a 4 mile corn maze. They even made a Clue like game along the way with clues and stuff to figure out a crime. It was pretty neat but it was too hot and too long for the kids to walk through the 3 or 4 different paths they had to get all the clues so after over an hour of walking around this thing we gave up. Then we went to the playground and the kids ran around like crazy while we hung out and Wyatt slept. Next was the Pumpkin Jump. The kids and I had a blast on this thing. It was huge and really fun. Logan was getting thrown everywhere when anyone big jumped near him it was great! Finally it was time for the hayride. We stood in line and finally got to when we were next in line to load and they were full so we had to wait 20-25 minutes for it to come back. Then we picked out our pumpkins and headed out. We were there for a total of 4 1/2 hours! It was a long hot day but really fun!

New post!
Needless to say we've been super busy since Wyatt's come. A lot has happened over the last 6 months. Wyatt was born Monday, April 19th at 9:15am. He was 8lbs 2oz. As we went into the hospital James and I did a bet on the weight I guessed 8 12 and James guessed 8 2. He was right on! Everything with my c-section went great. We went to the OR at 9 and I was in recovery by 9 45. My recovery took a little longer, I was super super sore for a long time after and had a hard time. Luckily James got a lot of time off.
We put our house up for sale in May (still trying to sell it) :( And started getting ready for our move to NC. Beginning of August we went to Ohio for a month of leave. We had so much fun there just hanging out. We were super busy though!
We made our move to NC in September. finding a house was a hassle. We looked at about 10 houses and only ended up liking a few due to the house itself or the area. We ended up renting a house that wasn't even on our original list. But we're all settled in and things are starting to get normal for us. I'm happy to have James home for the next few years!! I will try to keep my blog up to date from here on out!

Baby Wyatt
Yesterday I had an ultrasound to check the growth of the baby. I guess they are worried about me having another 9lb baby and if he is going to be big, they want to schedule my c-section early. I was really excited because they ended up doing a 3d ultrasound. We could see him yawning and opening his mouth. He kept opening his eyes and he even smiled at us!! :) As of now Wyatt is 5lbs and in the 82 percentile for his age. The ultrasound tech said it looked like he wasn't going to let Logan out do him.

Logan's Haircut
Logan really really needed a haircut....James took him and he didn't get the same lady that usually cuts his hair and instead of using scissors like I recomend they used the clippers. So everytime Logan turned or moved she would cut it a little short and kept having to go shorter and shorter. It was short...but I came around to really liking it shorter. It makes him look like such a big boy! And he even let me spike it up...even though Uncle Dusty seemed to think Logan looked like he belonged on the Jersey Shore with spiked hair!!
Love Day!
For Valentines Day the meetup group had a pot luck lunch and exchanged valentines for the kids. Madison had a blast putting stickers on her brown bag to collect her cards in. I think she was more excited about that then getting valentines from her friends.
The Valentines Day actually came....I got up early and put the kids presents together and decorated a little big. Logan was the first one up and was so excited to see all the stuff. Madison and James slept in, so I let Logan open his gifts up. We had heart shaped pancakes and strawberry milk to celebrate.
Night Out
For my friend Alicia's birthday we went to dinner at the Melting Pot and a comedy show at Zanies. The Melting Pot was disappointing I will say. Although the cheese dips and the chocolate dips were good, I wasn't fond of the main dishes. We decided next time we go we are just going for the cheese and desert. It was worth the experience though, we had a lot of fun with good friends.
the desert...I loved the Rice Krispie treats in

Finally snow in Clarksville!
We finally got good snow in Clarksville! Everyday Madison would run to the window only to be disappointed with the tiny half inch of snow we got. So when we got enough snow to go out and play in we took advantage of it. The kids and I built a snowman and played in the backyard for a little while. Daddy enjoys going out and playing in the snow much more than I do so we didn't stay out very long, and Logan was getting cranky. But they loved it for the time we were out there....Madison didn't want to come in.

Zing Zang Zoom
this past Saturday we heading to the Sommet Center in Nashville to watch Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey's Zing Zang Zoom. I was super excited, maybe more than the kids. Logan was excited to see tigers. We got settled in our seats and watched the pre-show, where you could go down and see tricks and things up close. It was really crowded so we decided just to watch all of it from our seats instead of dragging the kids down into the crowd. The show started and Madison was up out of her seat dancing. She loved every part of it. Logan got bored during some parts but really like the clowns and all the animals. It was a 2 hour show, which was a little long for the kids to sit and me! Logan crashed and fell asleep on my lap towards the end. Over all it was so much fun!
Fun and Games
On a Friday night in we decided to try out some games to play with the kids. We played a few rounds of Candy Land. Madison got the game, Logan just wanted to draw cards. Then Madison did some roller skating. We played Hide & Go Seek. The kids are only good at seeking. I'm great at hiding lol. Then we ended our night with making beds on the floor, popping popcorn and watching Cloudy with A Chance of Meatballs. It was such a fun night!!

The "big" blizzard of 2010
This just makes me laugh. They were calling for a few inches of snow here. I made the mistake of going to the commissary a few days before the storm was suppose to come. People were freaking out. Stocking up on toilet paper, milk and supplies like the world was about to end! Schools were canceled the night before and I was excited hoping I could take the kids out and play in the snow....and get more use out of the snow stuff I spent $70 on! Well needless to say this is what we woke up to.....
Nightmare trip home
Our leave was over and it was time to pack up all our Christmas presents and bags and head to Tennessee. We loaded the car till there wasn't an inch left and headed out. Maybe a little over an hour into our drive James was complaning about the car shaking. It got worse and worse and then our back tire exploded. We pulled over so James could change the tire. Well it turned out that our jack was bolted down under the back seat. So we had to take out Logans carseat to get it out. And then to get our spare James had to move everything in the back of our car to the side of the highway to get to the tire. He finally got everything he needed when he couldn't get the tire off. It turns out he needed a screwdriver to take our tire off, which we didn't have! He tried and tried for what seemed like forever. And poor James is was about 14 degrees and now starting to snow really hard. His coat and gloves were packed away somewhere in the bags. Finally a cop car pulls up to our rescue. Then appears a 5 foot 90lb chick. James is trying to get the tire off and she tells him "maybe I can get it" LOL so she tried nothing. She called a wrecker for us. 30 minutes later he came. Unscrewed a few things and then whacked the tire with a sledgehammer. He was nice enough to only charge us $60 and not the full $75 because James did most the work!! How nice! then we were back on the road. Thankfully the kids were so good for us, or it could have just made the trip that much worse.

Madison fell asleep watching about 8 hours of Scooby Doo

Bowling Night
Grandma and Grandpa offered to watch the kids so James, Kelly, Dusty, Kaitlyn and I could go to dinner and go bowling! It's been so long since I've been bowling. and to think when I was pregnant with Madison we went every weekend. James and I were actually getting really good. Even talked about getting our own balls!!! LOL After we went to dinner at Bdubs...mmmmm....I miss those wings so badly when we're in Tennessee.....we went to the bowling alley. I have to say I think I lost my touch. I was horrible and not to mention my back was killing me. Either way we had a lot of fun, till we got the text from Mom that Logan had been throwing up, so that ended our night a little early.

Christmas Morning is here!!!!!
Christmas morning was finally here!! My favorite holiday of all. I still get just as excited as I did when I was a kid. Besides Mom and Dad I think I was the first one up lol. It was a great morning filled with a lot of great gifts and fun with the family. Here are a few pictures of our morning.
Santa "Dusty" comes for a visit
After we went to the Christmas Eve program at church we headed back to Grandmas for a special surprise. Mom had gotten the old Santa suit at church and volunteered Dusty to be Santa for all the grandkids. It was one of the funniest things. Of course Madison was all about him and was so excited. Logan wasn't sure. But everyone got a turn sitting on "santas" lap. Logan kept telling Santa that he wanted a tractor for Christmas. Even Kelly got a turn on Santas lap, where he asked her if she wanted him to bring her a boyfriend this year!! Dusty was a great Santa and had every cracking up. I think this will be a tradition we will have to do every year!

All the cousins waiting for Santa to come!
She was so excited to see Santa....she talked about him forever and still does. The next morning she was upset and I asked her what was wrong, it was Christmas morning she had all these presents and she was crying! She told me she was sad. I asked her why and she told me that she wanted to see Santa and he wasn't here, he was gone! Poor girl!!
